Verlangen naar bergen (2023)
The urge to lose myself completely in mountain landscapes is growing. Since 2021 I have been doing small experiments with analog and digital photography, printing techniques and textiles on this subject. From this process, I am sharing a selection, which is the beginning of a longer period of work on the longing for mountains. 'Verlangen naar bergen' (Longing for mountains) is a working title, all work shown is in process.
In February 2023, I showed a selection of these experiments in the group exhibition BLACK SANDS at Huis van de Fotografie as part of Rotterdam Art Week. I used one of the multipurpose installations that Mira Matic designed for me in 2021 for my solo exhibition at iCOON. Anne Diertens took these beautiful photos of our exhibition.
